I like to share some behind-the-scenes work from the various Deep Rock Galactic: The Board Game expansions.
1. From sketch to finished component

2. When you run out of grenades
For some of the expansions, we ran out of existing source material for grenades. Working from an asset description by game designer Ole Steines, I created some in-universe concepts, followed by the final grenade art and the corresponding cards and tokens.
3. Cave hiders
These were created as a way of randomizing the modular caves without players being able to recognize what's coming next from the scuff marks on the regular tiles. Just swap em out!
4. The Barrel Game
